Thanks for visiting my channel. Firt of all. whan you are in Santiago, you have to do a combination to Balmaceda. There are several flights daily. In Balmaceda you have to take a transfer taxi to Cohiaique. Thay are waiting for you at the Balmaceda airport. It is an hour (10 dollars aprox). Thanks for visiting my channel. how do you get to lake general carrera i will be in patagonia in decemeber and i cant find any bus routes or near by airports any help would be appreciated.

Thay are waiting for you at the Balmaceda airport. It is an hour (10 dollars aprox)
There are very few bus services, but since Cohiaique City you can find private tour operators who take you to the lake for a full day tour.The other way is to move to Puerto Rio Tranquilo Town. There ara a couple of hostals.This town is at the border of the lake.There you can move to Puerto Beltran, Chile CHico and a lot of wonderfull places. Baker river as well.
