  • I may be wrong about this (feel free to corrcet me if I am) but I think that Peter Garrett is the only politician in the entire world who gets on stage and performs with a band to help people in need and get his message across. Maybe even to remind himself where he came from and what he stands for. Oils forever!

  • WOW! They sound as good as ever! One of the great bands of all time.

  • @nma225 You are exactly right.

  • HOW I WISH these guys would come back and do a last world tour.

  • Collest politician in the world I still remeber watching the oils at Maroubra Seals way back in the day when the Seals had heeps of good bands.

  • @nma225 Peter Garrett has a PhD in politics, it says a lot about himself not being half-wit on this subject.

  • Hey, I was never a fan of them, let me say, and I lost them for over 15 yrs now. But, guys, they always were a respected live band. I am glad they still play live, and this video truly shows a tight rock band with serious music and deep lyrics. Two tumbs up for them!

  • @nma225 Yeah. And Rob Hirst is the best fucking drummer in the history of rock. And the precision of the band like unfuckingparalleled. And their compositions are of a sophistication almost no other group have been capable of. So yeah, they're OK. ;)

  • @nma225 I think a lot of people feel that since entering the political arena, that Peter doesn't speak out about, or stand by, his personal convictions. The problem is, if you have a tendency to be too vocal, or have a liking for snapping at the heels of other party members you get told to "shut up, and get back on the ute!"
