The f22 is untouchable the military that bought it thinks the slower less manuverable plane is better

@ImperatorDominus Look first, we can´t think only the Raptor will protect the nation, they need something like f-35 to cooperate, is almost like f-15(f-22) and f-16(f-35) and if the f-35 and a Raptor are in the sky, they have the air supremacy in every way, cause they are the most advanced plains in the world.

@packr72 if you just go internal bays wit 2000lbs bombs yes do both internal and external you can get much more. this be after you won the air-war of course.

so the air force model or A can carry 40700lbs so you need to check your fact again bub fuel of course is shared with this but full tanks are not always needed. yet full is 18,500 lb (8,390 kg) that still leaves 22200lbs for inside and out. why not carry most of that inside since 18klbs can go in their.

I like the f-35, but the F-22 is a far far better fighter. Its better to spend the money on F-22s and SeaWolf class subs now than end up paying the price in American lives and perhaps even the fate of our Nation later on.
