  • How can you find out the "hardness" of a paint to determine what compound to use? You used Meguiar's 105 (not D300 compound) for the Audi -- what would you use for a 2002 Civic?

  • @ahawnt Honda paints are typically soft / medium. D300 on a MF pad would work great for your compounding stage.

  • @EsotericAutoDetail how about a VW? what compound would be appropriate?

  • @CzarThePlezer It depends on a lot of factors, but if you have heavy defect removal it's hard to beat Meguiar's M105.
