  • Maybe I'm wrong but it seems that it's the original and "real" recording of their "Live and Dangerous" album (I mean with no overdubs).

    Thanks for posting !

  • @manuorchestra This recording is from the Live & dangerous tour but is not the same recording from the Live & Dangerous Album released!!

The lead breaks are not exactly the same as the album!

  • WOW!!! Awesome show. I remember $12 concert tickets. But as Keith Richards says about the ticket prices of today...."It's not about the money"......Uhhhhh yeah right. Great post thanks.

  • @Qwazier3 Is easy for Keith to say that, he has the money, ,it costs a small fortune to go see a shown now & is not just the ticket ,Parking,t shirt, cds or dvds for sale next to the t shirts, drinks etc..!

back then it was just so cheap to enjoy great music!

thnx alot for comment & tuning in!

  • Great stuff--was at that gig--good memories of real music; thanks for posting :)

  • j ai une préférence pour gary moore , brian robertson, n' est pas de son calibre .... RIP gary

  • CLASSIC

  • whoa, thanks for posting this, an amazing band caught in their prime!

  • This is Classic Lizzy.. of their time, powerful and full of life.. Gorham and Downey should leave the past alone.. they are doing dis service to their own work.. These boys were in their prime and it showed..not music for old guys to be playin and charging bucks for... To quote the main man himself in late 85.. 'if you see me playing with Thin Lizzy again.. it means im behind with me mortgage..' Phil lives on in the music he left behind with the boys...!

  • The best Thin Lizzy lineup!!

  • @AXESLINGERFV Live and Dangerous dipped into the Rainbow gig for a lot of its stuff. And on the Album overdubs were done to tidy up/replace parts. Standard practice with a lot of live albums. so manuorchestra is actually correct. Info from "The Rocker" - biohraphy of Phil.

  • I don't give a shit what anybody says Thin Lizzy kicked ass....

  • To fight the fight they believe to be right............

  • Brian Downey such an underated drummer....

  • Great band from the seventies, so good to hear it again, I have the original LP in perfect state, great sound!!!
