@sisterblister77 I'm not 100% certain, truth be told. I was 6 months old when Wrestlemania 3 was held, so no, I wasn't a fan back then.

@TheSejanoz OK, but do you mean paid attendance or the number of actual people in the seats??? Who cares what the paid attendance was? the fact that another 15,000 people made the trip to Pontiac MI in certainly impressive. Were you a fan back then? I was, and this event and the anticipation was HUGE, the superbowl times 10. Andre's heel turn would have been like Pres Obama turing Al-Qaida

@sisterblister77 Zane Bresloff, the man behind the promotion of Wrestlemania 3, years later admitted that the attendance was realistically around 78,000 fans.

@sisterblister77 People get confused very easily on this subject. Approx 80,000 was the number of tickets bought, and the 13,000 were extras/handouts. Regardless, 93,173 saw WrestleMania III in the Silverdome.

i just got the dvd in october, greatest wrestemania ever, and it was in good ol' Michigan. people compared this to WM23, there is no comparison, this is better and when wrestling was fun to watch, not all drama.

Why do those losers on Live Audio Wrestling keep saying the 93,173 attendance figure is a phony number? The Silver home held approx 80,000 and there looks like another 13,000 at ringside. What are those geeks trying to prove? Losers.
