@earthsong1000 Yes. The idea behind this kind of program is that it allows you to use a bunch of programs without your computer locking up/freezing/lagging/etc. It doesn't make your computer faster, it only improves responsiveness. And of course you have to remember that since you're limiting how much resources a program can take that getting things done, say... rendering a video, might take a little longer. Go ahead and try it out, I believe giveawayoftheday is giving it away today again.

@midfingr Noticed there wasn't a solo review/demonstration of lasso as there was tamer on youtube so I'm glad I helped. Great software for the multitasker, which I oddly enough am not. Still handy for the times I do something like process video and watch video at the same time.

Hi. Thanks for the review. I too obtained this program from Give Away of the Day. I didn't even think of trying Prime 95. I did, however, use the proof of concept provided by the program and it did indeed show the differences between the processor responsiveness. I'm usually skeptical of these kinds of things, but so far, it's pretty impressive.

I will also try the other program, Process Tamer on a different Windows installation. Thanks again. :)
