@dbir123 I had to admit it, but Burnside is probably the only other highschool orchestra who could rival WSO. WSO was really great for the few years before Mrs Houseley left :) I miss the days.

I remember playing this piece in the Westlake Symphony Orchestra at the 2002 WGHS Prizegiving - I have no idea if our ensemble sound was anywhere near this good! Great phrasing from the strings, and the winds blend really well together. Happily used this performance to introduce someone to this work for the first time.
