2 Red Lights on Xbox 360 (Plz read description)

Ok, so i turn on my 360 for the first time this day, and after 5-10 mins of just DASHBOARD time it stops functioning and displays 2 red lights on the console. I had friends tell me its because of "Overheating" but i dont know how. I just turned it on. So i go with the theory, i put 2 small fans full blast, facing the console and ill let u guess what still happening. (NEW UPDATE AS OF 02/02/08, I CONTACTED MICROSOFT AND THEY WILL REPAIR THIS AT NO CHARGE IF YOUR XBOX IS STILL UNDER THE WARRANTY. IVE JUST SENT MINE A WEEK AGO AND AM EXPECTING IT BACK NEXT WEEK)

UPDATE as of 2/22/08: I forgot to update the week my Xbox came back. It came on 02/07/08 and I sent it on 01/24/08 (it took 2 weeks). Looks like they send you a new, if not replacement, xbox 360 so that you can get to "Gaming faster". Hooked it up, works fine except you may have to call them back for some downloaded content. Some of them may work fine but others may say that u have to unlock again. Just call them back and you should be fine. If not, they say it will take "Up to 30 days" for you licensing to transfer to you new xbox.

all i did was opened the console up and give it a good hoover there are fins inside and there was a carpet off dust across the fins which was blocking the air flow after doing this the console was quieter and have not had any problems with overheating or crashing only took about 15 mins to do

yea you had to clean the dust in it that what happened to mine and it still works.. had it 4 5 years..

do u know i fixed my xbox 360 open it and clean and and replace the stuff and then you put it on and then its an red light then push your xbox 360 hard and then wala it work

what you do dont open ur xbox dont try to fix it by urself they are proffesianals and they see by the sticker u opened it just send it if u open they wont rapair it!
