Im starting to like the idea of creating a lease fleet of mobile nuclear reactors for extraction, manufacture, and shipping sites managed by the merchant marines as part of the department of the navy. The navy has experience, facilities, authorization and developmental capacity for this program. As well the funding needs that such a program would provide. Doing this would preserve high tech tooling, maintain the skill set, provide security and add value to the real economy.
