when he won this race then, his gatorade duel the next thursday, then finished in the top 5 at Las Vegas, Atlanta, Bristol, and Martinsville, I thought he was gonna be a lock for the championship. and he was, until the chase started haha. he was in the top 5 in points nearly the whole "regular season" then the disastrous chase began lol but still 2008 was a good year, no matter where he finished in points
