  • @bgggbb He has all the feel you imagine!!!! its a dvd he's being more educational in his teaching approach here. This whole dvd is meant to teach drummers that Core Dynamics,timing,feel...etc too many "So called drummers" now don't have this! I wouldn't even call them drummers.

Everyone here is making Smartass remarks....they have no idea who he is! Multi-Platinum recording artist, he has played on multiple Grammy award winning recordings with combined sales of over 26 million copies.

  • @askadetra See Stetsasonic and The Roots, two of the biggest bands in the emergence 87-92. WHOLLY live instrumentation, and The Roots live band is around to this day. Plus just because a drum line might be sampled doesn't mean it's electronic, for the most part in the early days it wasn't tampered with in ANY way.

  • @askadetra hey it actually is, your on the internet just look it up yourself. why you getting so mad? stop getting so defensive. if you want to start condescending me and telling me "rap is not a music" these are your words im quoting btw and being a smartass about it then i will too. i know my music and i just checked your profile. you are out of your element.

  • @bigwrench01 shut up you asshole. hip hop is electroic genre, not a lifestyle. so you smartass stop talking when you don't know. it's you who can't define musical styles, i know about electronic styles more than you ever wanted to know loser.

  • @askadetra yup. except every rap artist is accompanied by what i define as electric music these days, a few exceptions of course. if you want to get nit picky then your right rapping is a technique and not a musical genre. but you know what? hiphop isnt a music genre either, its a LIFESTYLE. theyre both familiarized with a certain musical style smartass. dont know what you define as electric music. please tell me. because im actually confused to what you define as electric music.

  • @bigwrench01 you are fool. first, the problem is not in my reading. second, whatever you say, hip hop was always electronic genre. third, hip hop is not rap music. rap is not a music, rap is a kind of singing, using no melodies like the normal singing, but only reading a song lyric. rap is an addition to hip hop and it doesn't mean rap is hip hop. you say a kind of music is the same as a kind of singing.

  • @askadetra maybe you should read again. maybe you should simply watch a roots video and you will see a real life drum kit. hiphop has a lot of electronic, not actally real drums. know where hiphop came from, it definately didnt come up from electronically produced beats. wouldt want to go as far and say hiphop is an electronic genre at all. you must be listening to ymcmb, maybach music kind of shit. which i barely would call it hiphop. more like rapmusic.

  • @bigwrench01 though you know artists to play hip hop with real drums, hip hop is an electronic genre, electroic music. capiche?

  • @askadetra depending on who really. the roots is just one of many that use a real drum kid when recording/producing and playing shows. i saw lil wayne last summer and obviously not recorded with a drum kit and when played live he had a dj playing for him. everything all prerecorded.

  • @bigwrench01 you'll find hip hop with real drums only in live hip hop acts. only the drums may be real, the other elements are sounds and samples from machines for electronic music.

  • @askadetra which is too bad. i like hiphop with real instruments, the roots is my favourite band

  • Jesses this is lame.
