In the wii verion, if you shake the remote when you are stunned by the redeads you get free fast enough to escape their hit

@NintendoCapriSun if you want to know,ReDeads only do their shriek stun ability if they look at you and the camera makes contact with them, while this may not help you with the LP, it could help you enjoy the games more in the future.
