I loved Reagan, too bad he didn't have the foresight to really know that freedom includes, rights for women, rights for gays and rights for other minorities. RIP Reagan, we'll finish the work you started.

Even though I'm only 14 I've read alot about what Reagan did and am proud to have had a man like him as president. This man will have always been a great president. Amen...

an amazing show of the influence of the president

This is a great speech and all US Presidents should have to watch or read it. They need to follow it, like the part were we have weapons to destroy them, That is what brought them to the arms reduction talks, NOT lets give up our weapons and defense and they will follow suit, like Obama's plan is.

This speech is President Reagan at his finest. He knew that the desire to be free cannot be surpressed forever and pledged that the US (while not perfect) would stand with freedom. Where does President Obama stand? Iran, Honduras, China, Iraq, Afghanistan?
