@metaspherz I know each camera has it's own frequency, also each receiver has its own frequency! I've been on tech support for hours, have used the couplers they recommended & they were not free, you must work for x-10 or your full of BS,either way your the idiot!
@fritzhvac All X10 cameras have the same channel ( A1) so they will interfer with each other until their frequencies are changed (A1 to A16). I have an eight camera system in use for 5 years now. It's not rocket science to know that each cam must have it's own frequency. Even the finest cams will have interference problems if they're all on the same channel. The reviewer was an idiot! Think about it...hours adjusting antennas & locations when a simple channel change would've solved the problem.
I've been using x10 for 5 years. I have never had your problem. I bet you didn't have them setup on separate channels. Each camera has its own channel. There are 16 channels to choose from for each camera to avoid this particular problem. All camera systems will do this if setup wrong. How can you have all cameras on the same channel & NOT expect interference? I also had interference with my wifi router & laptop until I changed the camera channel. Did you think to call for tech help too?
