Seeing the comment below, I realized that the Sanders family is one hell of a complicated family to explain of who it all consists.. I mean, thinking about it.. Stefano, Lucas's dad, is Ludo's half-brother.. right? so that makes Nina Stefano's niece.but also the half sister of his son.and then Lucas and Nina are actually both cousins as half-siblings. and Nick being Ludo's son, so Stefano's nephew, it makes him Lucas's cousin as well.Or am I like totally wrong here?

@hadir88 they're cousins, we haven't seen any scenes of them together, but they know each other off screen.
Nina and Nick share the same father, Nina and Lucas share the same mother. But, their fathers are brothers, therefore Nick and Lucas are cousins ;-)..

@bucknell2000 Nick is Nina's half-brother (Ludo's son). The woman is Maxime Sanders, Ludo's sister so she's Nina's aunt. It's about a year ago that they found out about Maxime's existence. From the beginning Nick and Maxime couldn't stand each other. Maxime took advantage of the bad relationship between Ludo and Nick and was able to drive him so crazy that he attacked her (tried to drown her). That's why he was sent to a clinic.

And some info about why Nina is reacting like this:
Years ago she was kidnapped and when the place where she was was on fire she was able to escape by running away between the flames. This left her traumatized and Ludo and Janine decided to send her to a clinic. When she came back the role was SORAS'd (it was Marly's debut). This explains Nina's reaction to Nick's extended stay at the clinic.
