hi Rob, that's the first time i've seen that. Bil has recovered from his rough landing at Stanwell and was heading to Blackheath today - it was a bit deceptive as the wind indicators weren't looking so aggresive, well done for staying in control with so much turbulence.

@MrAndrew1101 That's great news about Bill, glad he has recovered. Just shows you no matter how many landings you have successfully done you always have to keep on your toes.

@relate2 that is for sure - Bill's landing by all account was a bit of turbulence just at the edge of the grass/sand strip - your landing certainly put you on your toes, swinging forward of the A-Frame!

@MrAndrew1101 Yes the reclamation area certainly throws off rota if it isn't directly SE. My landing was as if the glider hit something and stopped dead in mid air swinging me forward in the A frame, a most weird feeling, lucky it happened close to the ground. :)

Hi ya mate,

Just kicked back with a glass of wine and just soaked up your vid.Been flyin for 35 years and it still turns me on.Yesterday I flew a sea front flight from Heacham to Hunstanton in the UK.First time it has ever been done.Landed outside an old pilots place got him out there on the beach and spent 2 hours getting him back into it.He is going to buy my mates glider.In the evening my mate and I got his 15 year old son into the air.A dad's dream come true.What a brilliant day.
