EvE Online: Caracal Navy Issue vs. Arbitrator

My corpmate Katana Edge and his brother stoned guy challenge each other to a cruiser PVP fight to hull, and I offered to FRAPS. The quality is pretty crappy if it comes out like I expect. I might upload it in better quality in parts later. In advance, sorry for the lack of in game/ regular music, and the fact that a drone ship vs. a missile ship at close range is a tad boring.

Details/synopsis/spoilers:

I watched and filmed from 85km not helping either side, only sensor boosting myself to get their HP on the screen. Katana Edge pretty much won with his faction shield booster backing him up, and he got busy targeting drones, so I had to jam 'em both to call the fight when stoned guy went into structure. Sadly, neither thought the fight was over yet so I kinda dropped the ball on that one...

I don't know what an SPR is. All I know about the CNC is that he was rockin' a Caldari Navy Medium Shield Booster.

An Amarr n00b, yes. He's a Caldari Pilot, I guess he had had maybe 1 month of Amarr training at this point and that's why he wasn't using a laser ship.

Thanks for the video and don't worry about the lack of music--just about every good video on here has been fucked by bad/loud music. Game sounds are best.

@Qualanx Caldari is more of a PVE and support race. if you look at a CNC with heavys at long range, or the blackbird, those t1's give the best support out of any ships iv seen. so while at straight up PVP caldari fails, they rock at makeing sure they're friend wins

I think it was mostly the arbi's drone skills that were lacking looking at the pathetic damage he's doing. He should have been able to cap out the CNC so he couldn't use the shield booster, active tank without cap = dead.

the must of not been decently skilled with amarr or such, if he had a medium shield booster (the navy caracal) it would of lost if the arby was decently skilled and had a nice neut fit.

Caldari faction cruisers seem about equivalent to the other race's T1 cruisers. :\ I kid you not. At least, from my experience.
