    thanks

you maybe mean : diffrence between marquis madagascar and marquis indian rosewood ?

If so : the madagascar model has more sparkling overtones. The bass aren't "muddy" like on the indian rosewood model.

Both are great, but the madagascar one is more "alive".

  • Beautiful guitar! I'm looking for one, but for now is out of range...Good picking too, is an original composition?

  • @zoso72

Hi, the music is a song of peter finger (Liebeslied).

on this video it is played by my friend Performer55 (on youtube).

    cheers

  • Very nice guitar playing!

Your OM has a true warm sound. Very similar to my OM-28 RC (also a Madagascar).

I was wondering if your OM has that typical Madagascar smell too.

  • Hello. It was benja23s OM. He's also an UMGF member. His guitar smelt MRW too !

    greetings.

  • I just bought one of these, only 110 made. The basses are clear and warm as compared to Indian rosewood. It sounds like an old pre war Om to me. Better than the Brazilian Rosewood model.

  • Sounds great love it, just got the same guitar indian rosewood, but wish I could have that recording sound quality!!

    very much for info

  • Another great recording! You should do an instructional video on the best way to mic a guitar. Maybe even a comparison between internal electronics & external mic.

  • Great recording on this one.

  • I hope you didnt set it directly on the cement that would be wrong lol

  • @TroppoFunky

Hi, the guitar was recorded with 2 sony mics (large). No equ. Just a light touch of reverb. That's the actual sound of the guitar.

    cheers,

    jeremy

  • Hi, congratulation for this marvellous guitar. I would like to ask you one information. How did you record the audio of this clip?

I mean, did you edited the sound somehow, or it's just the pure sound of the guitar trough a micorofone?

I'd be happy if you could answer and congratulations again.
