Engine needs to have a fuel injector cleaned.
What wheel slip?
Where?
My great uncle engineered a 4-8-4.
Said he had some difficult times with wheel slip on an especially heavy freight.

Sounds Great! Though I don't see any wheel slip.

Not only is wheel slip an issue but also the old AMP gauge, when you hit in the red ya gotta back off. when notching up one at a time the AMP's hit close to the red and ya gotta let it come down before notching up one more. Very skilled engineer, right there.
I took this video in maybe 1999 or so, we actually were sitting in the employee parking lot the entire time. My brother and I NEVER trespass to get videos or stills. The local IHB officer even waved at us when he came out of the office and jumped in his truck to go out and do his job. We have never been asked to leave properties in the past although it has been a few years since we went out for a serious day of foaming.

The wheel slippage was actually quite minimal attesting to the engineers skill at the throttle. When viewing the original uncompressed clip on the camera it is plain to see small little slips as the sand is dropping in the path of the wheel. i appreciate all who claim it isn't evident but alas the truth is truly there when shown "original."

The original video although compressed here does in fact have subtle wheel slip when viewed uncompressed. I was there taking this with my brother who was an Electrician at Proviso for the C&NW, he pointed it out. The wheel slip is not dependent upon being "stalled" in this case.
