I said the same over 14 years ago. I've been disgusted w/ myself ever since.

@TheLapisLover INTP as well, HATE MATH! Find it redundant/boring

I am a combination between INTP, and INFP (questor) To be honest, I adore thinking! It wakes the brain. Something that does not really fit with the description is that I detest math. However, I excell greatly in the language field. Currently, I would like to become a forensic psycologist. (aka criminal psycologist)

Just took the test and INTP completely fit's me.

for like 6 months now i thought i was an intj. then i looked around at my filthy, disorganised room/life, infinite number of great but unrealised ideas and obsession with gaining knowledge from a huge spectrum of interests and thought "something just doesn't quite fit..."

@ToeTwinkleToes Nope, but if I only had one advise to give you, it would be : go for it! And maybe expand your scientifical ambitions a little bit, like being a mathematician AND a biologist, then specializing in birds if you still like them :) ... I'm telling you that because I'm 37, and I never achieved anything because I never set real personal goals for myself (except to sort it all out, and gather as much knowledge I could, but that isn't enough after a while)... Have a great life!

Nice, I finally understand how it works. lol I'm an INTP female who is not seen as 'cold' as many other intp's are seen. But I have been told that I don't care about anything a number of times. People tend to think that I have no emotions. I cried for the first time in front of my brother about a year ago and he looked at me in horror and said 'you never cry'. Though I'm also seen as easy-going and non-threatening. go figure.

16 year old female INTP vie often been described and cynical and unfeeling. But I'd like to be an ornithologist. Anyone else working towards the scientific career?
It's sad that so many young people today don't know who they are. I blame all the available distractions, as well as the lack of creative and artistic expression. Those activities that lead to the very self knowledge we need are mainly ignored, while random, junk food for the mind, waste of time activities are embraced. Hey, I'm all for video games and doing nothing from time to time, but always distracting ones self with nonsense? Part of why young people today don't know who they are.
