Even if Reagan had been doing the 100% right thing back in the 80's it makes no difference to what should be done today because if nothing else we live in a different world then we did 30 years ago. Times have changed.

So your answer is "take money out the economy, use part of it to pay the government, and then put it back in to the economy. Ya that'll work" The problem is that the average job the government has created by stimulus cost over $1 million. They also go to companies that will not survive so those jobs don't last long anyway. Stimulus is not the answer. I will concede tax cuts don't really help. P.S., a majority of economists believe there is very little the government can do anyway.
