Well Rose, I was intrigued by this, and did some research. The form took a long time to develop, and he worked with a panel of experts. Most of the teachers have years of previous experience AND through them he has helped tens of thousands of people. He has devoted his life to doing so, and personally I'm pretty impressed.

I have never remove you first comment, please resend to be post up.
As for the TCA program, it is not the one to replace the TJQ that need a minimum of 10 years with qualified teacher (in which I never knew it need a standard time, I think it depends on talent of the master and may be where you train).

That still does not give them the experience needed which one only gets through constant practice/study of TJQ. A minimum of 10 years with a qualified teacher. And why did you not post my past comment to your first response, to my comment? So, I ask you again, with who would you rather learn TJQ from, someone with at least 10 years experience, or from someone who learned a short form over a weekend? There is a difference between knowing a form and knowing the system!!!
I don't think you will teach student that comes with pain and joint limitations, with the same degree of requirement for TJQ. right? awaiting for further exchange of thoughts. Thanks.

Many of my students have Osteo/Arthritis & Fibro. I teach Chen TJQ. I tell them ANY style of TJQ is good if they have a teacher with @ least 10 yrs. experience who can explain principles & theory well. Paul Lam once said Chen style wasn't suitable for older or infirm people. I don't believe that; & tell my students not to place limits upon themselves. Chen TJQ can be adapted to suit ANYONE'S physical capabilities. They've gotten good results doing Chen TJQ. Their ages are from 50-83 yrs.old.

Also, I never said he "created" a new form. I stated that he "developed" one. Look up the difference between the two. And I have seen the seminar applications for TCA & I don't recall reading any question asking if the applicants were nurses, cert.trainers, P.T. or O.T.or whether they had a CPR certification.

Please read your own comment and mine, there is no wordings of "created" there, what are you aiming? Please check the facts, go the the website www.taichiforarthritis.com
Anyway, people will have the rights to choose the effective exercise to do, so the facts will tell the story. Thanks.

Chen style is more demand than other style in power and lower stance, but it younhave modified that to teach, then is good. Thanks.

I think you miss the main point of TCA and TCD, the exercise is for health and wellness, not as the traditional TJQ for competition or demonstration, I do agreed it will need times to perfect the form and skills in Tai Chi Chuan, and that's not what the aims is for TCA and TCD, the aim is to do a good, effective exercise in a safe way for patient, so the target population is different,
