http://www.begbucks.com First off I previously deleted this video by accident; Anyway here I'm powering my small window AC when it finally did start as this one rarely started when humid therefore I had since liquidated it in favor of a larger, cheaper more reliable & louder unit. (This is Part 1 of 2), I'm powering my small window AC (which is Samsung 5000 BTU 625 Watt rated, but draws 538/563 Watts on Low/High respectivelly based on the readings from my Kill A Watt" digital electric usuage meter), btw the loping in the engine isn't related to this load as it dose it even when no load or other load is on - so it's not AC related. Rate, Comment or Subscribe & thanks for your tips!

Anyway my genny (The carb needed a flush even though I use Stabill) that seems to "Lope" miss slightlly though runs smoother when it warms up (in about 1 hr.) I would like my genney to be perfect (My 1992 Dodge 5.9 b350 Ramvan runs smoother & it's US/Canadian built, on the other hand; My Honda 2000i is Made in Japan and runs like crap - any clues or has Japan just lost it in recent years?

Is this Loping Normal or is something wrong? (I have no other gennys locally to compare this to) I made two other vids powering a small 5000 btu AC barely working a sweat where you can listen in more to the loping or missing.

  • How can I keep this generator dry during a hurricane?

    No garage-No carport.

    Thanks.

  • @torgomax Well it supposed to be sealed but the internal workings may give you trouble to start if humid/wet which is why I sold this & picked up a diesel generator to be converted to WVO/WMO/WTF.

  • How many items can you power with this generator and can you give examples of what?

  • @Tommytorque69 Upto 13.3 amps or about 1500 watts in practice aside the "rated" 1600 like a wall socked IF YOU CAN GET IT STARTED lol

  • sounds like governor surge to me, cus the governor is behind the load, so it will ramp up and down, never quite finding the perfect spot.

  • @horseguy1 Might be, everything on these is electronic so it's tricky. I thought about the idle screw & when the weather warms up, I'll play with it (& remember the turns to default), thanks.
