CRL Lumber Yard Local: Leased Power Switches In Mokena, IL. 9-24-09.

I was pretty surprised to hear this train called out over the scanner today. Leased units CKRY GP7u #903 and LLPX GP15-1 #1503 are in charge of switching out Hines Lumber at 187th Street. They shuttle in empties from Blue Island and take away the loads.

This local came from the East, but switched over further down the line and now throttles up. Here it is about a mile away from hines.

By the time I got there, they were just putting on the loads and minutes later, throttled back up East.
