Introducing the "Burj Dubai". Completed in January 2010, it has overtaken Taipei 101 to become the new World's Tallest Building.

It stands over half a mile high, with 160 storeys. That's like stacking 2 Empire State Buildings on top of each other.

In this video from 2007, Matt Rogers takes a look inside the unfinished building including a view from the 137th floor.

  • I went up to the 127th floor, the view was fukin awesome!

  • Dubai is awesome but whats the point of building so many infrastucture!

  • @xXFL4WL3Ss that dumbass didn't notice that the plane he flew in is higher then the building. and i know what u meant by how high weed...

  • @heyheyheyheyhi14 what a dumbass he said that he never been that high before>.> how in the hell did he go to the country in train? lolololo

  • @bearcolombia makes us feel both like the whole world is going to shift below us, and then everything is going to fall on top and crush us. At least that's how I feel. In my late 20s now it comes and goes, but it was strong even in my teens and too much in my childhood. I would take quick peeks at the tops of skyscrapers, because anything longer would make me feel

    imminent danger.

  • @heyheyheyheyhi14 Anablephobia. I've had the same thing my whole life, and haven't met anyone with the same issue. Good to know someone else has it. Fortunately it's not really an issue, just makes it harder to appreciate architecture or even cieling paintings in cathedrals. Perhaps it's something as simple as having had something fall on you or in your eyes as a baby. Maybe even when we started walking, every time we looked up while walking we fell, so looking straight up high

  • I have never been this high before in my life lmaoo if you know what I mean...

  • @heyheyheyheyhi14

I have that as well, looking to high building and getting afraid, I feel the need to hide, and run away! I immedeately look at the floor near my feet! I have it too looking up in the night sky. It is terrible...

But I have also fear off heights.

  • Dubai is the new new york

  • Dubai is probably the closest city to a science-fiction city, but still far away from being a science-fiction city.
