A suite for flute, violin and cello in four movements, composed for the splendid Silver Roots ensemble, who premiered the piece in New York January 2011. In this screencast you can follow the piece the way it looks and sounds in Notion 3. The score is made mainly with Notion's own bundled samples, with a little assistance from Miroslav Philharmonik's string samples a few places. The idea behind the piece is to mix certain elements from baroque music with folkish/popular ingredients -- rhythmic verve being one of several common denominators. The 2nd movement is based on a much beloved Scandinavian folk song, originating from the Åland Islands. Great stuf, can you tell what reverb etc you have used, Kev

@spatzk Thanks for your comment! In fact I have used the native Notion 3 reverb at its default settings. No other effects, apart from a little panning. Both reverb and panning are easily adjustable from witihin Notion's intuitive mixer window, where you can also load and adjust third party VST/AU effects. I have more or less used native Notion samples all the way through, apart from backing up the cello part with Miroslav Philharmonik a few places.

@Bogdan0173 Thank you very much! I really think polyphony is one of the characteristics of the classic tradition that makes music in this tradition extremely interesting to work with and to listen to.
Best regards,
Otto
