A surprise that could only happen at Comic-Con. Director Ridley Scott was live via satellite atop an Icelandic waterfall to talk to Hall H about his new film Prometheus.

it's about the creatures that created the alien (or Xenomorph) and who also terraformed this planet and planted the seeds to life. the crew of the prometheus go to make first contact but obviously they'll find something else. for over 30 years Ridley has always wanted to make a film explaining the spacejockey creature and to explain how Wayland knew about the crashed space craft and why they sent the nostromo to LV426. So it sets Alien in motion

there was no music at all in alien each time when the creature appeared on screen. just the loud screeching sound effects. but yeah the first two films have amazing soundtracks. alien 3 had an amazing soundtrack but unfortunately it picked the wrong film to be broadcasted on lol

how do you explain special order 936 which was to bring back lifeform. so they did know about something. but you know. i could be wrong :D. im just glad this film isnt going to your standard prequel and is going to be original.

Conceived as a prequel to Scott's 1979 science fiction horror film Alien, rewrites of Spaihts' script by Lindelof developed a separate story that precedes the events of Alien, but which is not directly connected to the films in the Alien franchise. According to Scott, though the film shares "strands of Alien's DNA, so to speak", Prometheus will explore its own mythology and universe.
