Man, I only wish the gold in my areas were that chunky. That stuff would be SO easy to pan compared to my less-than-salt-grain sized stuff...

maybe consider saving yer blacks, grind em down using morter+pestal to @ 200 mesh, and smelt em- there is more gold there, not visible to the naked eye, but you might be surprised at what you can recover from yer blacks, "fever brother".

there are various ways to separate gold from other substances however methods that disassociate based on material density such as wind water or buoyancy result in lost potential because of dis-similar sizes. ferromagnetic disassociation is very accurate so long as the metal isn't bonded or otherwise encapsulated with the black sand or other material.

I was thinking the same thing....put a light magnet on the other side, and pull the black sand off, then do it again with the sand that came off, just in case...

Cant you just use a Magnet to get the black Iron?

Why not just use a magnet under the paper?
Cant you just thin the black sand out from the gold and use a magnet to get the rest of the black sand?

@gary77777778888888 Not all the black-sands are magnetic plus when using a magnet the black-sands can trap gold with them.............just fun on a winter day........Take care.
