wind he was watching the space between the chair arm and the chive train as it passes the tower ps its very rare when an chair arm hits a chive train and derails in the wind

thankfully the abundant powder below, and the incredible response job by mountain ops/ski patrol kept this to 8 non-life-threatening injuries when it could have been so much worse. i ride that lift every weekend, and there's no other mountain i'd rather be at if it were me caught in that freak situation.

how totally scary... it i had seen that i would have peed myself. if i had been on the hill and hearing about this, i would have walked down the mountain... god bless them all.
