@wilsonnien This is in Clearwater, FL... just that Arnis Kali is also taught there.

Smooth

@Armandotoossi Wrists are not classified as "small joints." Perfectly legal in mma and any submission grappling/bjj comp.

Hap Ki Do Is more on defense its average but too much defence wont win a fight for me Seni Silat Gayung + Jeet Kune Do + Hap Ki Do is a perfect combination of strength speed and defence!

Finally a good Hapkido demo. If anyone has a link to a dynamic kick defense, please post it. I don't study Hapkido but I did a seminar with some Hapkido guys about 8 years ago. I thought the kick defenses they displayed were really good.

@pantherablaze What does Krav Maga stand for ?
The answer is entertainingly simple and appropriate. Krav Maga utilizes Aiki theory and a lot of other good stuff like Sambo . Why hurt yourself by attempting to use hard strikes with hard body parts against hard body parts when you can let the ground do the work for you ?
Hit hard things with soft things and soft things with hard things. Krav Maga is a very effective fighting style.

@wilsonnien You will ALWAYS see the Korean flag in association with Hap Ki Do because it is a Korean art.

@vickiormindyb I practice Krav Maga and I've used it one time at a bar with 3 guys who were wasted and were looking for a fight.... Krav Maga is a very devastating martial art. I've done Muay Thai before Krav Maga and all I can say is that Israeli Krav Maga is very effective
This form of martial arts probably saved my life.
A guy in Philadelphia mugged me for my purse. After I gave it to him, he told me he thinks I need a scar on my face.
I was terrified, and thought of ducking when he swung the blade at me.
Before he could complete his move, some guy came out of nowhere and used hapkido on the mugger to stop him.
I'm really grateful to this guy for knowing hapkido.

The first 100 or so pages of most hapkido books are ANATOMY. Such a close study of the human body and how it moves (or doesn't move) has created an art that gives the student an ability to control another person with little or no effort at all. struggle all you want.. it will only make your injuries worse.
