Major Fraud, do not respond to, send money to, or contact this address or phone numbers. They are posing as the Organization, and just keeping the free money that people send in. The real International Organization for Migration does not have an office in California.


If you call, the person will answer with "Hello". The real organization answers with a voice machine. He will then ask for your case number right away. And we asked if they accept debit & credit card. They say they only take money order & checks. We also asked if we can pay on their online site....they said that they don't have such site at the time, but maybe in the future. He sounds very Hindu, Asian, or Nigerian...strong accent. I know many Hmong people who has been paying this fake org. that pose as IOM.

My mom got this letter on my address so after being a citizen for 20 yrs I knew there was no repayment due all of a sudden for travel to the US! Thanks for this:) I can't believe no one is stopping these bastards...

Thanks for the heads up!! As soon as i saw the envelope i had a feeling, my girlfriend wouldn't believe it, so i went to the original IOM website and didn't find any office in CA, so i googled it for Scams/Frauds and came acroos this.. hehe
