  • I still love this song so many years later. Beautiful voice; glad John Farnham turned down the song.

  • For some reason all of Russell Morris's songs are coming back to me and I find myself wanting to hear all his songs again. Thanks Russell - your voice and these videos are such a part of my life and wonderful childhood days. Please come to Adelaide and perform for us soon:)

  • Marsupial music- great genre- singular , beautiful lyrics, and at a time when Australia did not properly support its musicians! thankyou U-tube!

  • Those were the days my friend........beautiful

  • beautiful.....

  • I vaguely recall The Hummingbirds or someone who sounds like them did a cover of this in the early '90s, it was pretty good. Haven't been able to find it though.

  • I was in Form 1,in Victoria and was doing Music as a subject when I 1st heard this singer and song and will never forget Russel Morris from 1971. My father died in 2009-on the 31st Dec, and my sister played the video to me ---Cotton/Keays/Russel-just before his funeral, and it really helped me to cope with my father's death as he was the one that encouraged me to listen to music in the 1st place. I miss you Dad and thank you for my love of good music-you were the best Dad ever, xxx joanne:)
