You have to choose an instrument that you know you are gonna be good at and you feel confortable with.
If you just play alone in your bedroom its fine but when if you go out there looking for a band you have to be good. For me its better to pick the right instrument rather than trying to be good at something you know you are not. Thing is that guitar is the intrument most of people wanna try but there are thousands more instruments.

This is really appreciated man! I too have short, fat tipped fingers and yes, it sucks learning to play guitar...I started way late in life, but I am struggling and trying...I want to play really bad and want to learn...so, with fat fingers, short and stubby, it is an uphill battle...appreciate you putting this out..WE NEED TO SEE STUFF LIKE THIS and encouragement! Thanks again man!
