Speaking of Citroen Amis (which I like as well) Practical Classics unfortunately reported that there are just about 80 roadworthy Amis left on British roads; worse still, only three of these are right-hand-drive. :(

I have seen more than 3 Amis that are RHD but it may be a correct figure for the Ami 6.

From what I have read, the car is not supposed to be smashed up.

Nice. I'm the current owner of the red one featured 28 seconds in. It's changed a bit since then: it looks like a service van now, it's got Club spec twin headlights and a later 2CV engine and gearbox (still drum braked though!). And I use it as my daily driver.

A very underrated car..looks like Top Gear`s recent purchase of one will bring it to a wider audience...that is if they don`t smash it up first.
