Recreating The Lightsaber

My attempt at creating a lightsaber using vacuum parts, sound effects, and little video editing force (no pun intended).


This really wasn't meant to be an actual tutorial but rather to showcase what you can do with a little video editing. I used adobe after affects to recreate this lightsaber sequence. I suggest heading over to videocopilot.net and check out the following free tutorial below. Even if you do not currently own After Effects, the video goes more into depth on how the lightsaber effect is actually created.
