The funniest thing is to watch the peoples faces when you bring them on to gig. You can read from they lips WTF but once when you start to play it you get another a bit different WTF ;-D

Every kick pad and hi hat pedal works with these. I have same setup but I also modified one of my DD55s with outs for each pad so I can connect it to another module to get more strange vintage sounds. Sampled sounds on DD55 are great. This units are cheap now but they are good as the latest el drum pads. I loved my one just if I can learn to play it ;-D joke

how do u use the normal pedal's because i have the originals for the dd-65 ant that pedals suck so much....

@DreJoystick You are correct my friend. The cheap plastic Pedal suck, as well as the built-in speakers. I'm using the Yamaha KP-65 Kick Pad, you can mount any normal Bass Pedal to it. & the HH-80 Hi-Hat pedal. These Makes a HUGE difference. I believe Yamaha now sells a Kit, the Yamaha DK-65, I think it comes with both Pedals and a Throne / Stool.
