@jessgood703 I'm actually reading it now! It really portrays Janis as the great person she was. It's nice to see what her childhood was like and her journey through the times and the music world. It was cool of her sister to do that as someone who actually knew her rather than someone else's interpretations. Janis Rocks!!!

If anyone needs a good read, please check out "Love Janis" written by her sister, Laura Joplin. This book includes letters that Janis sent to her family whilst becoming....well...Janis! Her true self seems so gentle, loving and kind hearted. A wonderful book, truly well written and very personal. If you're a Janis lover, read this book! I never comment on you tube ( well except for this and the last comment below) just felt the urge to express my respect for Janis Joplin. Yeah man! Rock on!
