Ron Paul is just as bad as Romney, if not worse in some respects. Despite his rhetoric he's not exactly what I'd call a Libertarian. (Not that the American Libertarian party is anything but a party full of people who hate taxes, hate the government, and feel it's more important to praise guns and a bizarre idea of "freedom" than to do anything reasonable.)

History has taught us that our forefathers had a very different idea of what freedom should be, when compared to the freedoms we have today (much fewer than what they had envisioned)... So you are entitled to your opinion of what "freedom" should be, same as anyone else, but don't go and criticize/generalize about someone or something that you think is bizarre unless you have facts to back up your statement of their idea being bizarre..

Why would you waste your vote for Ron Paul? You are hurting both Obama and Romney by not casting a vote that counts. I'm not trying to be mean, but think about that. Fact is, the right has gone extreme to the Tea Party run by the Koch brothers. The left is not extreme. It still stands for the middle class. Any GOP vote is going to be for the Top 1%.

I don't exactly like Obama, but given a choice between him or Romney, I'd choose him over Romney any day. Yes there are other choices (Ron Paul), and yes I will be voting for him, but if there was only Romney or Obama, I'd choose Obama over Romney because he is the lesser of the two evils that are the left and right wings.
