Man, this movie was kind of a slog to get through. People just walking... and walking.... and walking. Mostly in silence.

If I wanted a minimalist film about desolation in the form of walking in the desert I would just watch Daft Punk's Electroma. At least that film still has stuff happen while keeping with a theme of isolation and melancholy . Gerry is a just series of (admittedly beautiful at times) shots that are done far too long, and that's it.
