  • @StateOwned there was one of the old rebel series rated at 50,000 actuations. Someone did over 350,000 and it was still going, thats 7 times more than the rating.

  • I'm upgrading from my EOS XT to this immediately! Thank you so much Gordan, You know your stuff! Keep up the excellent work!

  • the 5 dislikes are obviously from some lame "competititor".

Why on earth woun't you appreciate such a professional and friendly review?!?

  • @StateOwned My 350D has 100k clicks, what's your point?

  • is the silent mode on the 7d as good as it is on the 40d?

  • are there no menus for taking an automatic pictures?

  • @simargl

budget camera's aren't suposed to make "ridicilous amounts" of pictures.. like a 500d maybe 50000 clicks or a 50d with arround 75-100k oposed to a 1d mk4 which im not sure of maybe arround 200-300k clicks? probably more..

  • @simargl don't be paranoid. the purpose of a camera is to take pictures, and also, most cameras don't fail exactly at 50,000 and they break before or after. my friend'snikon d300 has a dur. of 150,000 and has 200,000 (he does weddings)

  • one question, when i got my 30d 3 years ago, it didn't come with a red canon strap. it was lined with gray. just wondering,
