I interpreted District 9 as a parallel to the terrible struggle for rights in that same country. Just like the majority blacks in South Africa, they lived in shacks and were always being harassed and treated like less then primitive life forms. Even the slurs called prawns because that's what every majority has done in any society. Demonize a minority. Both blacks and whites demonized them to an area like the Warsaw ghetto and enclose them to isolate them

It is kinda like first Star Wars movie (original one, not those crappy prequels), which borrowed from movies like Flash Gordon and Hidden Fortress. Still it is one of the best movies ever made, he took ideas from those movies and make it's own universe.

Plz how is this related to cops evicting them freaking banks do it to ok, although that is true about the signs, the experiments are to find out about them as in were is like weak point or how to kill it fast but similar to starship troopers i mean you gotta know what your up against right? moving on morphing many movies have that the fly aint the first, the running i understand but most movies have that id say terminator, E.T. yep id say very accurate anyways i thought it was a really goodmovie
