Transsexual Ignorance - Dating Heterosexual Men

I have seen and heard several transsexuals talk about how they deal with their dating status and some think it is ok to lead a guy on to think that "she is a genetic woman" from the beginning and then after some time disclose that she is a transsexual. I do not agree with this at all and think it is very disrespectful and unfair for the man.

I agree with you about being honest. But this goes with any relationship. Being a straight male in my 50s I would be receptive to letting a transwoman talk with what they feel comfortable with. I am a pretty good listener. Men that get violent have issues with themselves and not you. Me, I prefer women, trans or otherwise. You don't have to wear a nametag and shout it to the mountaintops, but if there is any thing that involves more than a hug, be honest. I wish you well.

I think its my personal life and I'm not gonna share that information with just about anyone, if your at a bar and a guy hits on you and your talking to him after a while you decide to tell him "hey I'm transsexual" he's gonna go and tell EVERYONE in that bar what you are, he is literally gonna tell people he don't even know about your truth.
