Baby Budgies

A clutch of baby budgies I am feeding because their parents couldn't handle it.
Explanation: The parents of these babies had six chicks; but were successfully feeding only the eldest two. These four little ones were taken by me for hand feeding; so they would survive.
To successfully hand feed a baby budgie, one must wait until the baby's crop has completely emptied before feeding new formula; or the baby will sicken and die. The mother bird doesn't have to do that; and parent-fed baby budgies are usually quiet.
So, these babies are feeling very hungry when it is feeding time; and are calling very loudly for food, which is natural. It takes several minutes for them to realize they have been fed after being given the formula; so they still call and run around looking to be fed for that amount of time. Here there are four of them and minor mayhem. But one will see them quiet-down towards the end of the video, after which they are put back in their nest box to go to sleep. These birds fledged fine and are over two-years-old as of October, 2008.
