@frow9405 Yes, you are quite correct. I attended a Leonard Nimoy seminar in Toronto, Ont. eight years ago. This episode was mentioned and it made Leonard wince. Shatner & Nimoy knew the writing was on the wall. "Be ready to move on......." The writers were having problems.
Sadly, Mr. Nimoy became a private citizen October 3, 2011. He's officially retired. No future appearances!! That's all folks! SHALOM LEONARD!!!!

It's notorious for being the worst episode - plot wise, script wise- of Star Trek TOS. Even Leonard Nimoy said so. I actually have never seen it, and I plan to avoid it.

Awesome, but did it have to be Spock's Brain (which is an episode I have personally banned).
