Lost In The Fog runs the fastest race of his career, finely displaying his brilliant turn of foot.
Sound problem originated at the source. Turn it up loud. Sorry.

Blazing fractions of 21 2/5, 43 1/5, 54 4/5 (faster split than 1982 world dirt record by Chinook Pass of 55 1/5 posted on horsehats.com), 1:07 1/5 (3/5ths off the world dirt record by G Malleah in 1995). Incredible.

  • You have the wrong year on this video. It's 2005 isn't it?

  • My mistake. How did you like his performance here?

  • Thanks for the video, I had never seen this

horse before. Wish I had ESPN!

  • You're welcome. Fog was a heckuva horse, his speed was amazing.

Heck, I wish I had ESPN too! In Canada, ESPN, Inc. purchased a minority share of TSN, but it seems the CRTC and ESPN can't or won't make a deal to bring it to Canada, due to programming rights, as usual. I wish they could find some middle ground already. Drives me insane.

    Have a nice week!

  • @JettRink50 Well, Lost in the Fog died of cancer... but it would've been awesome if Secretariat had raced later. It stinks that he had to be worth so much. I guess they were worried that he would get hurt.

  • what did he finally die form was it Cancer

  • Some horse! Lost In The Fog was a good one. Thanks for posting this! =)

  • Wow, what a blazing fast race! All the jockey did was hand ride him and he made it look easy. He would have been near a world record had he been pushed a little.

  • Now we can't see the BC here unless you have

cable which we don't because we don't watch

that much tv. But really I am getting disgusted

with the short careers of the big name horses,

so many don't even race at 4. I always like to

picture an imaginary race between SEcretariat

and Ruffian, quite possible if Secretariat

    had raced at 5.

  • Yes, The Fog had blazing speed. The fractions are incredible, and his turn of foot looked so effortless. Made it look like a walk in the park.

    Thanks for your comments.
