Stabbed to death 27th december 2007 in North London.
Nassirudeen Osawe, 16, was chased off a bus in Islington, North London, and attacked in front of shoppers by another teenager. One of the dead boys friends was also stabbed in the fight and last night he was in a stable condition in hospital.
Nassirudeen, a student at St Charles Catholic Sixth Form College in North Kensington, is the 27th teenager to have died violently in the capital this year. He was returning home with two friends after shopping in the sales when he became involved in a dispute with the teenager on a No 73 bus after 2pm on Thursday.
His friends claimed that one of the boy thought that Nassirudeen had given him a dirty look. The boys tried to flee but were set upon by the boy. Passers-by and shopkeepers watched in horror as the gang member stabbed Nassirudeen in the leg and through the Heart, and also stabbed his friend. Despite paramedics attempts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Nassirudeen, also known as Nass, was the youngest of five children. The family moved from Ghana to Britain about 20 years ago and his mother works as a hairdresser.
Last night his family paid tribute to a kind, loving and principled son and sensitive brother, with a great sense of humour. They went on: Nass was a very talented artist and was studying A-level Art. The expectation was that he would go on to study art at university. Nasss favourite type of art was animation and he loved drawing and watching cartoons and playing computer games. His ambition was to become a graphic designer working in the computer games industry.

@howmanytimesify He isn't african american... but he is african! He went to my secondary school. I remember seeing him a couple times at school! Its really a shame that young life is being wasted...
