A Jick Love Story Episode 39

~The next day when Nick gets off the plane.

Nick: *Looks around. Thinks: Oh my god what am I doing?*
Emily: *Runs up to him.* Nicky!! *Hugs him.* Hows my favorite little cousin?
Nick: *Smiles and hugs her back.* Im okay. How are you?
Emily: Okay? Just okay? Your mom said all you wanted over the past month was to come back so you could be with my boyfriend.
Nick: Yeah but its been like over a month. Do you think he still wants to see me?
Emily: Im sure he does come on. *They drive back to her house.* Your room is first on the right. Your moving truck should be here soon.
Nick: Thanks Em. *Later that day the truck gets there and drops off Nicks stuff.*

Nicks P.O.V
I walked outside and smelled the sweet California air. It was good to be home. Well kinda. I had to know if Miley was mad at me. She must be since she hasnt called. Not even once. I walked up to her door. I took at deep breath and knocked. She opened the door.

Miley: *Jaw drops.* Oh my god.
Nick: *Looks down.* Hi Miley.
Miley: *Shakes her head as tears rolls down it.* What are doing here?
Nick: *Chocking up.* I c-came back.
Miley: I-I cant believe you have the nerve to come back here.
Nick: What did I do to you? Why do you hate me?
Miley: Not me Nick. You didnt even tell Joe you left. Do you know how hurt he was? You broke his heart.
Nick: *Crying.* I thought Id be easier that way. Im sorry!!
Miley: *Hesitates than hugs him.* Its okay honey.
Nick: *Cries into her shoulder.* I know I should have told him, it was a huge mistake.

Mileys P.O.V
I rubbed his back to make him feel better. He really did make a mistake but how is he gonna take that Joe has a new boyfriend. Not that Joes happy, I mean he says he is but I know hes not. He loves Nick to death. I cant even imagine whats gonna happen when they see each other. He pulled away so I looked at him.

Nick: *Shaking.* S-so hows Joe.
Miley: *Looks down.* Nick, dont get your hopes up for him. He was really shaken up.
Nick: I-I know. But your still my friend right?
Miley: *Smiles.* Best friends forever Nick. *Kisses his cheek.* Ill see you tomorrow.
Nick: *Smiles.* Okay. *Leaves.*

~The next day at school.

Nicks P.O.V
I walked into school with my head down. Everything was the same as before. I didnt know if I could face Joe yet. I knew hed be here somewhere. That just made my heart pound faster. I pasted Mileys locker and she gave me a nervous look. What was that about?

~With Joe and Adam
Adam: *Smiles and kisses Joe fast.* Come on, lets get to class.
Joe: *Takes Adams hand and starts walking down the hallway. Smiles and rests his head on Adams arm.*
Nick: *Walking the other way with his head down.*
Joe: *Thinks: Oh my god that guy looks like Nick. UGH stop it your over him.*
Nick: *Looks up and sees Joe. Stops and just stares at him.*
Joe: *Stops to. Cant move.*
Nick: *Swallows hard. Looks next to him at Adam than at their hands. Thinks: Hes moved on?* * Feels tears in the corners on his eyes and they roll down his cheek.*
Joe: *Holds Adams arm tighter and steps behind him.*
Adam: *Shakes his head at Nick. To Joe.* Come on babe, you dont need him. *Turns around and walks the other way with Joe.*
Joe: *Turns and looks back once at Nick. Looks him up and down then turns back to walk with Adam.*
