@Cooper1970 , the John Works package is pricy. I've had a regular mini and I love the S I have now. 6 speed manual is the only way to go. You're looking about 40 hps more with the works and it has plenty of bells and whistles. I upgraded my intake and pulleys for far less then it would have costed to buy the Works packages. If you have a good mechanic and like hunting for gear on the net you can find everything you need for about 3 -5 grand cheaper.

@CASSINOx the JCW package is the full bells and whistles package for the mini cooper word. Better pistons, pulleys , air intake and more. Yes its "beefed up". If you are gear head and like having a choice of how to upgrade your Mini , I'd go with an S and do it yourself. But if you want to just get the top of line "everything" go with the JCW package. My Mini S stock has 172hp and JCW has 205 hp. After changing the pulleys and adding a cold air intake I'm around 196 hp. Costed me 600
