Robin Hood Sherwood Chapter HOG Rideout Nottingham Monyash

The UK Nottingham Sherwood Harley Davidson HOG Chapter had a Group Runout To Monyash, Derbyshire. Here they are setting off from Robin Hood Dealership in Chilwell - a quick section of group bike riding and arrival at The Bulls Head Pub in Monyash where icecreams and bacon sarnies were the order of the day - by law(!) It was an unseasonably hot British Summer's day so advantage had to be taken of it. Final scenes are at Ambergate lay-by en route back from Matlock Bath (naturally).

Well spotted Mr Formby! Yes indeed - this was a 'improvised' technique which ironically worked incredibly well! But also - I should add - a 'one-off' - and since then 're-reviewed' (ahem) practise which will stay that way ! :-o

Fantastic! my local chapter though I havent joined yet only just having bought my 1st Harley I'm skint at mo. It's great to see people having a good time and enjoying the freedom we still have in this country. I love the way some riders block the roundabout till everyone is safely thru - I would think even the police would applaud this. I do hope to join the HOG and the chapter and get some rideouts done this summer (if her indoors agrees to come too - wouldn't enjoy it without her).

You WILL be skint if yer just bought a Harley! And re the roundabout blocking ... mthe guys did a great job - but it wasnt the 'usual' practiseapart from that it looked good nonetheless and I never even noticed at the time. And was the second hottest day of the year! Which is quite a novelty in the UK. You get free HOG membership when u buy a new HD anyway - so unless it was secondhand you may as well join 'em. .. tho you'll get more from a local chapter depending on yer locale! Ta Bruce

These Harleys will beat most bikes. Especially on the straights. However I do admit that thro the twisties anyone who can pedal fast is in with a chance ! ;-)
